Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Niagara Falls,Welland, Southern Niagara Region, St. Catharines,Grimsby and Northern Niagara Region
A few hours of freezing rain likely this morning.
Precipitation associated with a developing low pressure system has spread into southwestern Ontario. There is a threat of patchy freezing rain this morning as temperatures will be near the freezing mark. Any freezing rain is expected to change to snow by this afternoon.
Current information suggests that the most likely locations to receive a few hours of freezing rain include London, Woodstock, Brantford, and Hamilton.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
