Garbage collection delays in Niagara

Wondering why your garbage is still sitting at the end of your driveway or outside your house?

The region is reporting delays today and says collection will go into the evening.

It also says if you're garbage isn't collected today, leave it out and it will be picked up tomorrow.

No word on what's causing the delay in garbage collection.
