By now most residents in Niagara know the drill: residents in St. Catharines are being told to leave their trash at the curb for collection today as Emterra falls behind again.
Officials with the Niagara Region say collection wasn't completed in the Garden City yesterday, and all missed material will be picked up today.
A week ago the Public Works committee heard the company only completed their duties on 15 days between January 2nd and March 8th -- and of that, they were only on time 8 days.
Emterra's contract with the region expires in 2021.
