The Ontario and Lottery Gaming Commission has announced Gateway Casinos and Entertainment has been given the contract to run several gaming establishments in the province.
Gateway will take over the day to day operations of casinos in the North and Southwest gaming bundles.
Those casinos include the OLG slots in London, Hanover and Woodstock along with casinos in Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie and Sudbury.
Gateway will also have the opportunity to build two new gaming and entertainment facilities, one in the Kenora area and the other in North Bay.
The OLG is also searching for a new operator for the two casino's in Niagara Falls.
Falls Management which currently runs the two gaming facilities was told earlier this year its contract would not be extended beyond its July 2019 expiration date.
