Some staffing appointments have been made in Niagara by the 2021 Canada Games Host Society.
Chair Doug Hamilton has announced that Barry Wright, currently a Professor at the Goodman School of Business at Brock University will serve as Chief Executive Officer.
Wright will oversee organization of the 2021 Games including human resources, volunteer programming, finance, and sport & athlete services.
He will be leaving Brock on the temporary assignment starting May 1st, 2019.
Several other appointments were made including Steve Katzman who will be the Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer, Nick Snow as the Director of Sport and Athlete Services, and Vittoria Wikston as Senior Manager, Marketing and Community Development.

The 2021 Canada Games will take place August 6th-22nd in venues across Niagara.
Last week, Thorold Councillor Jim Handley told CKTB he was worried about planning for the games saying he hadn't heard much about funding and infrastructure .
Doug Hamilton, Chair of the 2021 Canada Games Host Society will join CKTB's Tim Denis at 7:20 Wednesday morning to discuss where they are in the planning stages.
