The Niagara Region is set to host a series of Open Houses about Niagara Go Train stations next week.
The meetings will give residents the opportunity to review and ask questions about land use plans that will guide development for the areas surrounding Niagara's four proposed GO Train station sites.
In 2016, the Province confirmed daily GO Train service to three station locations: Grimsby, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, with a fourth potential future station location in Beamsville.
The public Open Houses will all take place from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:
Niagara Falls – October 18
Niagara Falls Public Library (LaMarsh Room), 4848 Victoria Avenue
Grimsby – October 23
Grimsby Town Hall (Council Chamber), 160 Livingston Avenue
Lincoln – November 1
Fleming Centre (upstairs), 5020 Serena Drive, Beamsville
St. Catharines – November 2
Rodman Hall (Studio Gallery), 109 St. Paul Crescent
Public feedback on the draft Secondary Plans is encouraged. The plans will be available online for download approximately 2 weeks prior to each respective Open House at www.niagararegion.ca/gohubstudy.
