The family and friends of a four year old girl pinned by an out of control car earlier this week are asking the public for help.
Over the weekend, Maeve Field and her thirteen year old brother were hit by an out of control car after leaving a hardware store in Hagersville.
OPP officials say an 80 year old woman was in the car when it suddenly accelerated while in reverse, dragging the girl for several metres before the vehicle hit a building.
The boy's injuries are serious but not life threatening, while his sister remains in an induced coma at McMaster Children's Hospital in critical yet stable condition.
A GoFundMe account has been set up by Maeve's uncle, Bill Yates, to help the family pay for the costs of staying by their daughter's side.
As of this morning more than $54,000 has been raised.
Maeve's prognosis remains uncertain at this time.
