More than 70,000 spectators will flood St. Catharines' streets for the Grande Parade tomorrow.
The parade is a hallmark of the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival and recognized as one of the top street parades in North America.
Marching bands, community groups, and floats will hit the streets starting Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
Community Care will be collecting donations for the Annual Harvest Drive - last year spectators donated over 8,000 pounds of food.
There will be several street closures to keep in mind:
Lake Street between Carlton Street and Welland Avenue (8:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.)
James Street between Welland Avenue and Church Street (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Church Street between James Street and St. Paul Street (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Ontario Street between Church Street and St. Paul Street (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
St. Paul Street between Ontario Street and Geneva Street (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Geneva Street between Gale Crescent and Welland Avenue (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Additional streets near the route may also be closed.
