The Premier will be in Windsor today for the kick off of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governor's and Premier's Leadership Summit.
According to a Niagara Falls MPP, pollution in the Niagara River, from the dumping of untreated sewage could make it onto the agenda.
Wayne Gates says he spoke with Premier Wynne about the sewage discharges into the river from a Niagara Falls, New York water treatment plant.
Those discharges made headlines when a black stain surrounded the boat dock at the Maid of the Mist July 29th.
Since then there have been several other discharges during heavy rainfall.
Gates says the Premier assured him the issue of pollution in the waterways is of primary importance.
