Tim Hortons, Nestle, Pepsi, Coke and McDonald's have been named the top plastic polluters in the country.
The public shaming comes after Greenpeace anaylzed plastic litter found across Canada during a shoreline cleanup day across the country held last month.
Timmy's coffee cups and lids were among the most common pieces of litter.
Greenpeace says the five companies accounted for 46 percent of the identifiable trash collected in five different locations across Canada.
Officials with the environmental group hope the companies see the results of the report and move toward more enviromentally friendly packaging.
