Grimsby's transit investigation committee unveiling details of a study into setting up a full fledged transit system in the town.
During a town hall yesterday, a consultant said the transit system would cost ratepayers an extra $50 a year on their property tax bill.
Dennis Kar explaining they would start with two routes and four buses and as ridership grows, more routes woud be added.
The routes will see buses running from the Casablanca GO Station to MainStreet, stopping at the YMCA.
The second line would start at the Grimsby GO Station and follow the waterfront to Lake also ending at the Y.
If town council approves the plan bus service would begin in 2018.
