A new group has formed with a goal of bringing integrity, transparency and accountablility to municipal politics in Niagara.
"A Better Niagara" hopes to support political candidates in the upcoming fall election.
Organizors plan three workshops for anyone thinkingĀ of throwing their hat into the ring.
Group president Sean Polden says the 90 minute sessions will answer many questions would be candidates may have such as what are the time committments to run for office, how much money does it cost and what are the key elements of winning a campaign?
A Better Niagara is also looking for volunteers to join its committees.

The first workshop is set for Thursday, January 25th at the Centennial Library in St. Catharines.
