A citizen`s group will be at the Welland Courthouse this morning to submit an application for a legal injunction against the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority.
A Better Niagara is calling on the courts to end the stalemate over the composition of the NPCA's board of directors.
Representatives for the NPCA have stated Niagara is only entitled to 5 board members, instead of the 12 that have been appointed by local municipalities.
Officials with A Better Niagara say the Conservation Authority has not responded to their application so far.
Representatives from the Niagara Region are also expected to be at the court house this morning at 10 for the submission.
