A Niagara Falls property owner has entered a guilty plea in a fire resulting from a drug producing operation.
The incident stems back to March 20-15 after fire crews responded to an emergency call to a property in the city's south end where a detached garage was fully engulfed in flames.
After the fire was out, crews noticed smoke coming from a transport trailer nearby.
An investigation by Niagara Regional Police determined drugs were being produced at the location.
Lowrie Sabourin has pled guilty to the charges of Produce Substance and Arson.
Sabourin's plea includes 15 months in jail, 18 months of probation and must complete 150 hours of community service.
