Two suspects have been arrested as part of an investigation into cocaine trafficking in St. Catharines.
The investigation began last month, with police keeping tabs on a suspected cocaine dealer.
Yesterday morning, police moved in and searched a home in the north end.
During the search officers discovered $6,000 worth of cocaine and morphine tablets, $1,500 in cash, and a handgun.
34 year old Devon Barrett and 29 year old Jody King, both from St. Catharines have been arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and multiple fire arms offences.
