A man is dead after an apparent shooting in Oakville
It happened on Rebecca Street between Dorval Drive and Maurice Drive around 11:15 p.m. last night.
When officers arrived on scene they found the victim in medical distress outside a residence - but was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not made any arrests or released any information about possible suspects at this point.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to come forward.
They expect to be on the scene all day and possibly Sunday.
