Hamilton city council, the latest to join the growing of chorus for calls, for a forensic audit of the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority's finances.
Hamilton councillors voting yesterday to ask the province to conduct a thorough investigation into the agency.
Several Niagara municipalities have made similiar calls including, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Wainfleet and Port Colborne.
The NPCA oversees a large area of Hamilton's watershed in Upper Stoney Creek and Glanbrook.
