A high school in Hamilton was in lockdown after police say a threat was received this morning.
Police officials say Bishop Ryan High School was placed on lockdown as buses started arriving after several threatening phone calls were made before 8 a.m.
Although some buses were directed away from the school, some students had already arrived and were inside the building.
During a media update Hamilton Police Supt. Will Mason, "I can just tell you we take all kinds of these threats very seriously."
Police lifted the lockdown at 12:15 today saying they have cleared the scene and students will be exiting the back of the building to be reunited with their families.
