A Hamilton man is facing child luring charges after a 10 year old girl from London was contacted through Instagram.

A Hamilton man is facing child luring charges after a 10 year old girl from London was contacted through Instagram.

London Police executed a warrant at a Glenburn Court address yesterday after the girl told her parents she was contacted by someone using the Instagram account @amanda_brouwerr.

The girl says she was asked if she wanted to model for an Instagram page and was asked to send photos of her feet.

Police seized a cell phone during the arrest of  24 year old David Molnar from Hamilton. Numerous images on the device contain suspected child pornography.

Molnar has been charged with invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age, two counts of luring a person under 16, and possessing child pornography.

The @amanda_brouwerr Instagram account had more than 1500 followers.

London Police believe there may be additional victims.
