Hamilton's mayor is the subject of a human rights complaint by a city worker who wants Fred Eisenberger to stop bringing his dog to work.
The mayor has been bringing his golden doodle Dash to work for the last three years where he has the run of the glassed off mayoral offices.
Susan Creer, says she has complained about Dash to her supervisors because she suffers from allergies and asthma.
When nothing was done, Creer says she was forced to file a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
Even though pets are banned at city hall, Eisenberger admits he has been bending the rules, but notes Dash has a calming effect on the office and he makes sure his dog is not a bother to anyone.
