Hamilton Police are looking for a suspect who identified himself as an UBER driver and then sexually assaulted two women.
The two, separate incidents happened in Hamilton's east end, and detectives believe the same suspect is responsible.
Police are working closely with UBER in this investigation and have yet to confirm if the man was in fact a ride share driver or if the man was posing as an UBER driver.
The most recent incident happened on Wednesday September 16th when a woman was walking alone in the Parkdale Ave. and Queenston Road when a car pulled up and the male driver identified himself as an UBER driver.
The woman claims she got into the white, medium sized car and the suspect sexually assaulted her.
The first incident happened on Thursday, August 20th when a woman who was walking in the area of Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North was approached, got into the car, and was sexually assaulted.
The suspect is described as in his 20's, Asian, 5’5”-5’6” in height, with a thin build, clean-shaven, short black hair and wearing eye glasses.
