Police will be conducting ground searches using dogs and ground penetrating radar on a property in Flamborough in the search for a woman who has been missing since 2006.
In a case that can only be described as bizarre, police were not notified of her disappearance until last year.
And it's taken a year for officers to determine if the victim, orginally from Jordan, had left the country or had met with foul play.
Nuseiba Hasan was last seen in the fall of 2006 when a family member dropped her off at what used to be the family home in rural Flamborough.
Now police suspect Hasan, who was 26 at the time of her disappearance, was murdered.
Police are asking anyone who may have known her or who has any information in the case to come forward.
