Hatchimal craze in St. Catharines

Some very excited parents in St.Catharines who have scored the "must have" gift of the year.

Early this morning word started to spread that Hatchimals were available at the Toys R Us in St.Catharines.

People rushed out to find that in fact they were in stock.

There was a strict limit of one per customer.

One mom, Kelly from Fonthill says she was at work at a dental office and heard the news.

She rushed to the store, and her 6 year old's daughters wish for a Hatchimal has now come true.

She says it means a lot when your child is on the fence of believing and then you can grant a wish.

The toys were selling for $89.99.

As of 2:45pm the store in St.Catharines had sold out of the popular toy.
