You can now find out if your favourite beach in Niagara is posted as safe for swimming.
Regional officials test 18 beaches across Niagara and post water quality results on their website.
As of today, both Sunset and Lakeside beaches in St. Catharines are safe for swimming, and the water temperature sits at a chilly 64-65 degrees.
Bay Beach (Crystal Beach) in Fort Erie is only open for local residents with a pass, and is posted as 'unsafe to swim.'
Waverly and Crescent beaches are posted as unsafe to swim as well, while Bernard Avenue beach is listed as safe.
In Grimsby, Casablanca Beach has not been tested yet, while Fifty Point Conservation Beach is open for swimming, but Nelles Beach is listed as unsafe.
In Lincoln, Charles Daley Park West is open for swimming.
In Port Colborne, all five beaches are listed as safe for a dip in the water.
In Wainfleet, Long Beach is safe, Reebs Bay is listed as 'unsafe' while Wainfleet Lake Erie Public Access Beach has not been tested yet.
