Today's the day health advocates from Niagara make their voices heard at Queen's Park.
The health care rally is expected to be one of the largest so far as more than 100 buses from all across Ontario head to Toronto to protest the Ford government's cuts to health care.
Speakers include cancer survivors, chronic pain patients, nurses, paramedics, doctors, and health care unions.
Locally, buses will leave from the Welland Market at 9 a.m. this morning and make stops at the Fairview Mall Go Bus stop at 9:30 a.m. and the Grimsby Go Bus stop at 10 a.m.
Organizers from the Ontario Health Coalition are expecting 12,000 people to march up University Ave beginning at 11:30 a.m. this morning.
