The health of Lake Erie is the subject of a summit at the University of Windsor this week.
Over the next few days, 125 scientists, resource managers, citizens and students from both Canada and the U-S are meeting to discuss algae blooms, farm runoff, invasive species and how climate change may affect Lake Erie.
The university says Lake Erie is in a state of change and scientists will try to understand how human and environmental influences are acting together.
