Be prepared for a hot and humid day in Niagara.
Environment Canada's heat warning callsĀ for daytime temperatures in the low-thirties today and tomorrow, but the humidity is going to make it feel more like the mid- to high-thirties.
Don't expect much relief at night either as temperatures will only cool down to between 20 to 22 degrees.
The heat will start to ebb tomorrow night as the remnants of Tropical Depression Cristobal approaches Niagara.
Until then, remember extreme heat affects everyone - stay hydrated, find a cool place to rest, and never leave people or pets in hot vehicles.
