Friends of Tanner Unger are rallying around the family of the 19 year old who jumped to his death off the Burgoyne Bridge.
It happened Thursday night when police received a call about a man in distress.
The SIU is investigating, but in the meantime a gofundme campaign has been set up to help his family.
Terry Piedmonte, a close family friend, says what people don't know is that their home caught fire earlier that day.
She says they lost everything.
Adding to the tragedy, Tanner was taken to the hospital after the fire and put under a suicide watch.
You can make a donation to help the family at gofundme Help Tanner's Family After Fire.

Meantime, a makeshift memorial is growing on the bridge with signs reading "you don't want to die -- you just want the pain to go away."
