Heroin found hidden in shipment of high heels

We are just getting word of a well heeled bust at Hamilton's John C. Munro Airport last month.

Canada Border Services reporting its officers seized 799 grams of heroin hidden in a shipment of women's high heeled shoes.

During a routine cargo inspection, officers noticed an unusual smell as well as modifications to the soles of the shoes.

When they took the soles off, they found the drugs stashed in clear bags shaped to match the shoes.
 
RCMP then followed the package's delivery and arrested two people from Toronto aged 25 and 34.
