Two people facing a slew of charges after police began investigating the sale of heroin in Niagara Region.
Police seized heroin, esctasy, marijuana and cash from a residence in Thorold after carrying out a search warrant.
They also discovered a grow-op and stolen property.
Kody Mounsey is charged with:
- Possession of Heroin for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Ecstasy for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Production of Marihuana
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 (2 counts)
- Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000
- Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000
- Breach of Probation (2 counts)
Meagan Hyatt is charged with:
- Possession of Heroin for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Ecstasy for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Production of Marihuana
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
- Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000
Mounsey and Hyatt were held pending a bail hearing on September 9th, 2017.
