Niagara Falls' Mayor is getting some high profile support in his battle with cancer.
Multiple Stanley Cup champion and owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins Mario Lemieux penned a letter to Mayor Jim Diodati, offering advice and comfort as the mayor battles Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Lemieux says 'Never forget that your illness can be beaten and that a happy and healthy life is waiting for you at the end of your recovery period.'
Over the weekend, The Mayor's Grape Stomp at the Grape and Wine Festival in Montebello Park was also dedicated to Diodati's fight.
