Home prices in Niagara are holding steady according to a recent survey by Royal LePage.
Broker of Record with Royal LePage Brad Johnstone gives us a look at what our average home price is.
"The average price right now for a detached home across the Niagara Region, including every home type, is actually up to $464,000."
The aggregate home price in the region rose 3.2% year over year to settle at $418,600 according to the Royal LePage House Price Survey.
The median price of a two storey home comes in at $427,225 while a bungalow will cost you around $408,800.
Johnstone says the area remains a seller's market with well-priced homes selling quickly, but there is more selection for buyers than in the past quarter.
"Following the significant price increases of 2016 and 2017, house prices are holding steady, with slight increases in certain markets,"Johnstone says. "As a whole, the region remains very affordable and offers appealing lifestyle options to Millennials and retirees."
