Tokyo based car maker Honda is recalling the 2018 Honda Accord and 2019 Insight hybrid cars for malfunctioning software in the rear camera display
The recall affects about 14,000 car owners in Canada, over 230,000 in the U.S., more than 6,000 vehicles in Germany and nearly 3,000 in South Korea for the same problem.
Officials say there have been no reports of accidents or injuries related to the issue. It said the rear camera display does not show the images properly when the driver shifts into rear in the affected vehicles.
The company says the updated software will be free of charge.
