Police in Guelph are investigating after an explosion at a home on Southcreek Trail in Guelph.
The explosion happened around 1pm, and police are asking residents to avoid the area.
They say they are working with members of the fire department to get the situation under control.
Police believe the explosion was caused by a gas leak.
Cam Guthrie, Mayor of Guelph, says there are no serious injuries.
Guthrie says transit has helped to evacuate anyone who may be in close proximity.

I’ve been informed there’s been a house explosion on South Creek Trail (#32) in #Guelph. Emergency personnel are on scene & told no serious injures. Transit also have helped evacuate any others in close proximity. I’ll update as I receive more info here.
