2,600 lithium ion batteries used in computers and mobile workstations are being recalled due to a potential fire hazard.
A Health Canada report shows HP Canada is recalling the Chinese-made batteries because they can overheat.
The batteries were sold already installed or separately as replacements.
As of December 18th no injuries have been reported in Canada, but Stateside at least eight of the batteries have overheated and one person was hurt.
