IceDogs Head Coach David Bell has accepted an assistant coaching position with the Ontario Reign of the AHL. After four years with the IceDogs, the last as head coach, Bell moves on to the number one affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.
After three years as an assistant, David took over as head coach in May of 2016 and guided the IceDogs, the youngest team in the CHL to a playoff berth for a tenth straight year. In addition to his coaching with the IceDogs, Bell was behind the bench for three other OHL teams, as well as being an AHL assistant with Springfield of the AHL and spent time as a head coach with Quad City of the Central Hockey League.
