The IceDogs dropped a 2-1 decision to the Hamilton Bulldogs. For the second time this year, the Bulldogs were able to escape St Catharines with a one goal victory.
Oliver Castleman gave the IceDogs a 1-0 lead just over the 16 minute mark in the opening period. Castleman’s fifth of the season was a deflection of a Ryan Mantha point shot. Stephen Dhillon was perfect on 15 first period Hamilton Shots.
Before the middle period was three minutes old, Matt Luff would count at power-play and shorthanded goal. Dhillon blocked 31 Hamilton shots in total.
