The IceDogs begin their 3 in 3 Super Bowl weekend with a home date against Mississauga Thursday night. Come Monday morning, the Dogs could find themselves in 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th place in the tightly congested Eastern Conference of the OHL.
The Steelheads, leaders of the Central Division by 7 points, are 6-1-1-2 in their last 10 and have Owen Tippett and Nick Hague back from the Top Prospects Game.
Friday night its East Division and Conference leading Peterborough in town. The Petes are one point up on Oshawa for top spot and begin the weekend on a 5 game win streak. This game marks the return of Chris Paquette, traded to Peterborough last month. Goaltender Dylan Wells, the local product, always saves his best for St Catharines.
Saturday night, the weekend ends with a quick QEW ride to Hamilton to play the Bulldogs. The Hamilton Dogs have dropped three straight and have Matt Strome and Mackenzie Entwhistle back from the prospects game. So far this year, three of four games have been decided by a single goal.
