The 2017-2018 edition of the IceDogs hit the ice Tuesday on day one of training camp. A total of four intersquad games took place with veterans and rookies alike trying to impress the coaching staff.
Team White took the opener 7-6 over Team Black in a shootout. Dan Singer scored three for Team Black, while Matt Philip notched a pair for the winners. Philip's shootout goal would prove to be the difference but not before rookie Billy Constantinou would wow the crowd with a between the legs shootout goal.
Game two featured a 5-0 Colton Incze Team Red shutout win over Team Grey. Yianni Tsiampas scored the hat-trick for the Red side.
Game three featured a battle of the Dhillons, as the younger Eric bettered Stephen in a 5-4 Team Grey decision over Team White. The newest IceDog Zach Shankar picked up 3 assists.
The day's final game turned out to be a 4-1 win for Team Red over Team Black.
