The Thursday edition of IceDogs training camp was punctuated by two early scrimmages and the annual Black and White Game. Team Black would come out victorious in a 6-4 decision, Dan Singer counted the winner with under 90 seconds to go.
Akil Thomas lead the way for the victorious side with two goals and an assist, Kyle Langdon scored twice, while Johnny Corneil chipped in with a pair of assists.Drew Hunter had the other marker for Team Black.
Ben Jones had a pair of goals and an assist for Team White. Kirill Maksimov and Michael Hill scored the other goals plus Liam Ham contributed two assists.
Shots on goal favoured Team White 40-33.
The early sessions helped the IceDogs trim the roster to 40, with more changes coming before Friday night's exhibition game against Barrie at the Thorold Community Arena. 610 CKTB will have the call, with the pre-game underway at 6:30.
