This weekend for the IceDogs, two games and two stiff challenges against OHL division leaders. Friday night it's Oshawa as the host, while Saturday it's the annual Christmas Game against the Windsor Spitfires.
The Generals begin the weekend leading the East Division and Conference with 40 points. They will be minus their captain Anthony Cirelli, who is away at Canada's World Junior selection camp. Oshawa is second in the east in goals against and third in goals for.
Saturday night, it's the lone visit this season for West Division leading Windsor. The Spitfires will feature the return of Graham Knott and sit two points behind Erie for top spot in the Western Conference. The Spits are on a five game win streak and goaltender Michael DiPietro has posted three straight shut-outs.
Friday night it's a 7pm broadcast start, while Saturday's night home game begins at 6:30 on 610 CKTB.
