The IceDogs will welcome one of the CHL's best and a long time rival to the Meridian Centre for games on Thursday and Saturday.
Thursday night, the Sarnia Sting come to town for a first in the CHL. The Pride Game will see the home side don commemorative Pride jerseys in support of Pride Niagara and the The You Can Play Project. Post game, the sweaters will be auctioned off in a live, in arena auction. Sarnia comes in, having just cracked the CHL Top-10 in the 10th spot. The Sting are lead by Nikita Korostelev and his 11 points in the team's first 7 games. Graham Knott, TSN's current 1 v 1 champ leads the 'Dogs who begin the weekend with a 3-4 mark.
Saturday, it's the one and only visit in the regular season for the Oshawa Generals. Although, they only play twice a year, these teams seem to collide often in the playoffs.Mitchell Vande Sompel, fresh off signing his entry level deal with the Islanders will anchor the back end for the Gens.
Both games can be heard on 610 CKTB with the pre-game launching the broadcasts at 6:30.
