A 39-year-old Milton man is facing charges of impaired driving after blowing four times over the legal limit.
Halton Regional Police say they received several calls from people about a car driving carelessly, hitting curbs and swerving all over the road in the area of Farmstead Drive and
Louis St. Laurent Avenue.
Police located the vehicle driving in a field behind Boyne Public School. The driver was arrested for alleged impaired driving.
As police were arresting the driver, they found a six-year-old boy unbuckled in the back seat.
The boy was turned over to his mother.
She was unaware that her estranged husband was driving around with their son in his vehicle.
The man was charged with impaired driving as well as charges under the Highway Traffic Act related to the unbelted child in the car.
