The great Canadian candy caper has ended in a helicopter bust of the alleged culprits.
Police used a helicopter equipped with thermal imaging to catch a sweet-toothed gang of suspected thieves after someone broke into a store at Canada's Wonderland late Saturday and stole some treats.
York Regional Police say the male suspects, dressed in dark clothing, were spotted by park security within the closed park.
Using an infra-red camera, police in the chopper were able to direct a canine unit on the ground to the suspects huddled under a tree.
The three suspects were all under 16-years of age and were released to the custody of their parents.
Police released a 65-second video of the incident captured by the chopper as a deterrent to anyone considering trespassing onto private property.
