Ryan Straschnitzki and his family will be waking up this morning in their own home for the first time in months.
They returned to a newly renovated home yesterday, after living in hotels since last July.
Straschnitzki was paralyzed from the chest down in the 2018 bus crash that left 16 people dead and 13 others injured.
He says the home renovations, including an elevator, laundry room and an open bedroom, will give him more independence.
His teary eyed Mom, Michelle, said they were grateful to be home.
