T-V cameras are in place inside a House office building just south of the U-S Capitol as impeachment hearings for President Donald Trump make their public debut.
Until this morning's session of the House intelligence committee, witnesses have appeared behind closed doors.
Democrats are calling two witnesses today -- career diplomats William Taylor and George Kent.
Another witness will be called Friday, and eight more next week.
All are providing evidence about Trump's efforts to tie U-S aid to Ukraine to investigations of his political opponents.
