You may not be aware that someone accesses a food bank every 10 seconds in Ontario.
That's why the organization Feed Ontario has developed an interactive map that breaks down how many people rely on food banks in each electoral riding.
According to Interim Executive Director with Feed Ontario Amanda Colella-King, the idea is to put pressure on policy makers and MPP's to address the problem.
The map data is compiled using the postal codes supplied by food bank users.
Colella-King says you can look at the map and see there are people who depend on the food bank in every single riding.
