Brock University is experiencing a jump in international enrollment.
The University is reporting a 13 percent hike for first year undergrads -- overall, one thousand 777 international students will be attending Brock this year.
High numbers of international students are taking part in Mathematics and Science, Humanities and Applied Health Sciences.
Via a release Brock's Vice-Provost, Enrolment Management and International Jamie Mandigo says there's a growing appetite for international higher education around the world.
"A lot of countries are encouraging their young people to go and have a global experience. Canada is viewed as a safe and welcoming country, and we have high standards. No matter where in Canada you go, you're going to get a high-quality education."
Brock continues to attract many students from China, but a significant amount of people also hail from India, Africa, and the Middle East.
