A team of staffers working for a celebrated Hollywood director are heading to Hamilton to scout possible locations for a new film studio.
Mayor Fred Eisenberger says staffers working for director Guillermo Del Toro are coming to the city to talk business.
Del Toro first filmed in Hamilton when he used the Scottish Rite Club in his 2015 film Crimson Peak.
Then he was back last year to film The Shape of Water.
During a TIFF appearance this week, Del Toro told a crowd he'd like to set up a studio in Hamilton.
