Half of the $1.2 million Chase the Ace jackpot has been frozen while a family feud rages on.
The money was put on ice by a Nova Scotia Supreme Court judge until a court case can finish playing out; Barbara Reddick is suing her nephew Tyrone MacInnis.
Reddick says she gave her nephew money to buy tickets for her but never meant to share the money with him if she actually won the big prize.
She did however put his name on the tickets 'for good luck' and agreed to share the money if they took home the consolation prize.
MacInnis believes they should be splitting the jackpot.
The judge's order means MacInnis will not be able to touch his share of the loot, $600,000, until the dispute it settled.
